About
Applying to the Philadelphia Jung Seminar
The Philadelphia Jung Seminar, established in 1994, provides a forum for advanced Jungian studies to interested students in an intimate framework providing abundant opportunities for interactive, experiential engagement with Jungian theory. The Seminar meets for 10 hours on eight weekends, from September to December and February to May.
Admission to the seminar is by application only. Participants are required to have a graduate degree, whether in psychology, psychiatry, social work, counseling or the expressive arts therapies, and individuals with advanced degrees in other fields are equally welcomed to apply in order to deepen their knowledge of and inquiry into Jungian thought. Our Seminar is not limited to professional therapists; it is inclusive to all those with an interest in Jung, and is a vehicle for bringing Jung to a broad community.
Applicants are also required to have completed some analytic hours with a certified Jungian analyst.
Participation in the Seminar is a pre-requisite for application to The Philadelphia Jung Institute, should the student be interested in pursuing the rigors of Jungian analytic training.
